Based in Helsinki, we work with building design consisting of public buildings, housing and business premises. In addition, we are experienced in urban design and city planning with projects ranging from small urban interventions to large city plans. We have particular expertise in designing future learning environments, museums and other complex public buildings in demanding urban settings, as well as additions in delicate historical contexts and natural surroundings.

Our works have received numerous awards and prizes in international competitions and in Finland, including winning designs for Tampere Art Museum, Tuusula High School and Community Centre, Jätkäsaari school and Kottby grundskola in Helsinki, Maria01 growth company campus in Helsinki, Hannikaisenkatu apartment block in Jyväskylä and Viewpoint pavilion in London.

Jätkäsaari School was nominated for the Mies van Der Rohe Award 2022 and received the Concrete Structure of the year award in 2019. Our practice was nominated as a 2020 Royal Academy Dorfman Award finalist.

As members of the Uusi Kaupunki Design Collective, we promote participatory design methods that aim to make cities better by working together with residents. We design with the latest BIM software and produce high-quality visualizations. At the same time, we value traditional craftsmanship and are committed to using sustainable solutions and natural materials as the foundation of all our work.

We share our knowledge on building and architecture through frequent public lectures and through our teaching at Aalto University. We are a member of ATL Association of Finnish architectural offices.

We are always interested in new collaborations. Have a look at our work and feel free to contact us!
